ALFA Opens Nominations for 2014 Hero, Community Leader Awards
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Oct. 29, 2013 – The Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) today opened nominations for the 2014 Hero Awards and the 2014 Senior Living Community Leadership Award.
ALFA Hero Awards
The 2014 Hero Awards recognize superior, dedicated professionals who serve senior living residents. Nominees should champion choice, dignity, independence and quality of life for residents. Executives of senior living communities may go to www.alfa.org/heroawards to learn more and nominate community staff members for this national awards program. Video submissions may supplement the nomination application.
You can get involved in this 2014 award winner selection by voting for the winners from a select group of finalists. ALFA members along with a nominee’s family and friends can champion their nominated hero. More information will be published on the ALFA website as open voting becomes available.
ALFA Senior Living Community Leadership Award
The 2014 Senior Living Community Leadership Award program highlights outstanding executive leadership in senior living.
The Senior Living Community Leadership Award honors one executive director who serves as an industry role model. Community staff members and provider company executives may nominate executive directors at www.alfa.org/leadershipaward.
Nominations for both the 2014 ALFA Hero Awards and ALFA Senior Living Community Leadership Award will close on December 13, 2013. ALFA will announce and honor the 2014 Heroes and Community Leader at the annual ALFA Conference and Expo, May 19-22 in Phoenix, Arizona.
